Enders Game (Spoiler warning!!!!!!!)
wow, i have to say i did not see that coming. i was getting towards the end an was like, well whens the battle gonna happen? then i come to find out, it had been happening all along. did anyone else see this coming? its kinda wrong they make ender stay up in space, but i suppose its for his own good. what are some of y'alls thoughts on this?

I remember feeling exactly the same when I read it the first time. This time through, I'm very deliberately looking for detail to talk with you guys about. I haven't got to the end again yet, but we can certainly spend some time on it in class. If Ender's Game and Empire are any indication, surprising plot twists are Orson Scott Card's "thing." Empire had a couple of doozies and a very ambiguous ending with some mystery left! I am coming to appreciate him even more.
I also did not see that ending coming, but I thought it to be a good ending. Here is my reasoning. I read the book several years also, but I remember the ending. How many books can you say that about.

well i think that i kinda saw it coming yet at the same time i didnt see it comin. after i finished ender's game i started on the speaker of the dead...so far it is really action packed. ender and val are island hoping lookin for a place to bury the egg for the new queen
